Arrival in Kigali → Transfer to Akagera National Park

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and drive east to Akagera (approx. 3–4 hours). Check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch.

Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the park’s rolling savannahs and wetlands, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and potentially lions.

Day 02 :

Full Day Game Viewing & Boat Cruise

Morning game drive in search of the Big Five and smaller wildlife. After lunch, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Ihema, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and numerous waterbirds.

Optional afternoon nature walk or photography session in the park.

Day 03 :

Transfer to Lake Kivu

After breakfast, depart Akagera and drive to Lake Kivu (approx. 6 hours). En route, enjoy Rwanda’s scenic landscapes and rolling hills. Arrive at your lakeside lodge, relax, and take in the peaceful views.

Optional activities include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, or visiting nearby lakeside communities.

Relaxation & Return to Kigali → Departure
